Lisa founded Four Paws Rescue
from her home in northern Utah.
When the numbers of dogs got too great
for her home, she raised money
and built the shelter facility where many
of the dogs reside, waiting for adoption.
The number of dogs waiting for adoption
have now outgrown the shelter and many
Four Paws dogs are in foster homes.
Every dog that leaves Four Paws
for adoption is altered.
If it is a young puppy, has spay and
neuter arrangements made and paid for
at the time of adoption.
All dogs are up to date on shots.
Friends-in-Need is a non-profit organization
formed to help fight the battle over
overpopulation of our furry (best) friends
and to aide in the education for care,
training, treatment, spay and neuter
of these companions.
Then to finally put an end
to the euthanizing of healthy, loving
companions who could have had the
opportunity of a loving home.
No More Homeless Pets in Utah,
a program of
Best Friends Animal Society,
is a coalition of rescue groups,
shelters and veterinarians working together
to end the euthanasia of
homeless dogs and cats statewide.

The program places a strong emphasis on
increasing the numbers of both
adoptions and spay/neuter surgeries
throughout the state.
The program is sponsored by
Maddie's Fund, the Pet Rescue Foundation.
Tooele Animal Outreach is a
Tooele County-based rescue group
that routinely rescues dogs and cats
from local shelters
into our growing foster program,
where the animals stay
until they are adopted into
permanent, loving homes.
