We retain and re-home small and medium breeds throughout the United States. All of our dogs are up to date on shots, crate trained, housebroken, and spayed or neutered. | When I began working in rescue, it grieved me to see senior companion animals who were discarded or relinquished at the end of their faithful lives by family members of their ailing or deceased owner who were unlikely to be rescued and/or adopted. Feeling strongly that something is terribly wrong with this picture, I wanted to form my group to offer assistance and help in this area. To assist these senior animals as well as the senior citizens with their companion animal thus giving them peace of mind while living on fixed incomes and limited mobility and helping to address their pet's needs with them and after they are gone is the primary focus of our group as well as the continued rescue of homeless pets. |
| Ponderosa Pomeranian Rescue is dedicated to rescuing Pomeranians and other petite breeds. Our mission is to find these dogs new, loving homes, and to provide appropriate vet care. We work with many animal shelters to help reduce pet overpopulation and to help reduce the number of animals euthanized by local shelters. |

Our mission is to rescue and place abandoned and homeless small dogs in loving, permanent homes in the Austin area. Wee Rescue is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization. We have no paid staff and operate only through the many volunteers that donate time and talent to save the lives of the many wonderful dogs that we have in our care. We charge a modest adoption fee to help defray the costs of caring for the dogs. |
