| When I began working in rescue, it grieved me to see senior companion animals who were discarded or relinquished at the end of their faithful lives by family members of their ailing or deceased owner who were unlikely to be rescued and/or adopted. Feeling strongly that something is terribly wrong with this picture, I wanted to form my group to offer assistance and help in this area. To assist these senior animals as well as the senior citizens with their companion animal thus giving them peace of mind while living on fixed incomes and limited mobility and helping to address their pet's needs with them and after they are gone is the primary focus of our group as well as the continued rescue of homeless pets. |
