Pit Bull Rescue San Diego is made up of
people who work tirelessly to improve and
save the lives of Bully Breeds
in San Diego, and occasionally beyond!
We do not have a shelter, but work with a
fantastic group of fosters who take care of the
dogs while we find them their forever homes.
Pit Bull Rescue San Diego started
with just me, Kate.
After having seen first hand how people view
Pit Bulls, I resolved to do something about it, and got
myself a little website in MSN Groups.
No-one saw it.
I was crying my eyes out every day over
all these dogs in the shelters,
and no-one saw them.
So I decided to get a 'proper' website, and here I am!
Pit Bull Rescue San Diego was born.
PROUD was founded in 1997,
to help make a difference for homeless dogs
in Central Valley shelters that were dying
by the hundreds -EVERY DAY-
*ONLY *  because they did not have homes.
With heavy hearts we know that we cannot
save every dog, but we can make a difference
for some of them.
The goal to save great dogs and place them in
great homes is what we work for everyday.

PROUD is 501 (c) 3, non-profit canine rescue
located just 20 minutes south of Fresno.
Pups Rescue was started in 2001 by 1
person. It is still run by that same person
and since the beginning, has rescued and
found homes
for over 700 puppies.
I am dedicated to saving the lives of
puppies that are left to perish from the acts
of irresponsible pet owners.
Thousands of animals are killed every year,
and I am trying in some small way
to save the lives of all I can.
Raining Cats 'n' Dogs is a 501(c)3,
nonprofit organization dedicated to
finding adoptive homes for companion
animals.
All pets adopted through our program are
spayed/neutered to prevent
further overpopulation.
Animals posted on our site will include our
foster animals, as well as courtesy listings
for local animal shelters and other rescues.
The Rescue Alliance of Hairless and
Other Breeds, Inc. is a non-profit
nationwide coalition of independent rescue
agencies who have come together to help
each other help our animal companions.
Due to their special needs, we specialize in
hairless breeds, but will never turn anyone
away as long as we have room in our
homes for anyone whether
furred, scaled, or feathered!
We are a non-profit corporation
dedicated to the health and welfare
of all animals.
Your generous donation will help us
provide the funds needed to establish and
sustain a donation only animal hospital and
eventually a no-kill animal rescue sanctuary.
To prevent the unnecessary destruction
of dogs, help stray pets find loving,
responsible homes, and strengthen the
family bond between people and pets.

the laws and proper care and treatment of
companion animals.

Hispanic community, all calls for assistance,
regardless of nationality, will be treated with the
same professional concern and response.
Short 'n Sweet Dog Rescue takes in dogs
that are in shelters or heading towards
shelters due to their home situation changing.
All dogs taken in are spayed or neutered,
given vaccines and
any medical attention they need.
We strive to match them up with caring
families that will love them for their entire
natural lives.

available for adoption i.e., purebred dogs,
cats and kittens, barnyard and misc.

number of foster homes we have!)
Y.A.P.S  is the Yucaipa Animal Placement Society.
Our shelter is a safe haven for abandoned animals
from shelters across the region, and
animals whose owners can no longer keep.
Our purpose is simply to make sure the animals
that come to our facility are spayed or neutered
than placed into permanent, loving homes.

Our Mission:
To prevent cruelty to animals in the operation

and gentleness toward domestic and other animals.
